  • It's a NEW CAR..I mean world.



    When 1.9 is released there will be a new world to explore, this is how it will work;



    • Travel to and from the (as yet un-named) new world will only be with a Tardis (builder3 and higher)
    • There will be no live map to view the world
    • PVP will be enabled (if the other person agree's), no stealing, raiding etc. ie nothing else changes
    • Players may claim areas (PVP disabled in claimed areas)
    • No warps
    • No home, sethome etc. ie you cant port home to the main world
    • No /spawn command


    This will be more of a true survival world, if you get lost and your Tardis runs out of energy you are in trouble. Also you should consider this as temporary world (like the End & Nether) that may get reset at any time, for example with future minecraft updates when new ores/items are introduced. Use your Tardis to transport materials back to the main world. Builders who cant travel to the new world will have to depend on other players for transport.

    No doubt there will be other permissions that will be removed from this world. If you have any other ideas how the world could be set up then comment here.

      Also to make it a bit challenging what about removing /spawn also?

      Yes, /spawn will definitely be removed. Not sure about what happens if a player dies, probably reasonable if the player is then re-spawned on the main world.

      I'm lost. so are you saying its like a mine world and then we can go back to the curint world and have all of are the same stuff and in the old world still have /spawn and homes?

      Yes, sounds about right, except harder with less permissions. Thinking about making it an amplified world.

      i think that mcmmo skills shouldn't be applied in the pvp world , because people who has been here for longer , would have a bigger chance of winning(if not a 100%) each fight against people who has a lower level, example: a player with a high acrobatics level can have for example a 80% chance of dodging each arrow, he can just stand still while the other one runs to dodge them manually. i experienced this in a bow fight in the arena against someone with a higher archery skill, my arrows dealt half a heart of damage, his dealt 4,5 each. I thought i should say this before 1.9. An other option could be making it so you can turn it on or off. Thanks for you attention. ~Jmeer

      I thought this could be a good idea because the 1.9 update is mostly about pvp or combat , (its called combat update for a reason) and i thought that if they add new fighting mechanics it would be nice to use them in combat and not just using the mcmmo skills. What I'm saying is that if Mojang adds a new fighting system wich requires to be good at pvp , and not just have a high archery level and be the one who clicks fastest , i think it would be good to use it.       I think that jmeer presents a good point. Going up against someone with full Prot IV armour and V level weapon enchants is bound to lead to a one sided fight if you don't have the same gear, let alone their MCMMO added on top of that. Although I also want to see MCMMO in the new world, as it'd make things a lot more interesting, the concerning thing is that a lot of people are going to be super overpowered.

      Yeah , i agree that it would still be nice to have mcmmo in the new world. As i said before , i think that it should be so you can turn it off for a fight and then turn it on back again. I dont think that this is possible but i cant think of a way that would allow people to choose between using mcmmo or not. ~Jmeer

      Is there way of turning mcmmo pvp skills off in that world and let the mining/fishing/digging/ and more stay on in that world too?

      Yes, mining skills etc will still be enabled.

      Also, if people do want to PvP with mcmmo enabled, perhaps you should be able to adjust your own claim to disable/enable PvP? Just an idea :P

      I like Corey's idea , I think it woulf be an easy way of turning mcmmo for pvp on and off. Or if that doesnt work , people will still be able to play in the spleef arena with mcmmo.
