    Wither Skeletons

    Still no Wither skeletons, Ive no idea why and have basicly given up trying various options. However there is now a fortress in the nether that has been setup to produce Wither skeletons, if you look on the map you see a world guard area you need to travel to. To make sure the area is not damaged and will continue to work for all players you wont be able to mine in that area, you will need to work how to get there.

    Would anyone like to change the web site banner? I think I'd like to keep the design very similiar to what it is now, perhaps a better font though.

    Restoring builds from V5 map

    World edit seems to be reliable when pasting in previous saves, chest contents appear ok. Also animals are even restored if there were any in the area when it was saved. Just tell me the co-ords you want it placed, the X co-ord is important so its placed at the correct level.

    Ive made an executive decision (not going to be all that popular) to reset the stats for MMO. All of the combat stats would need to have been reset anyway due to the changes in PVP, and it was a lot of work to edit multiple stats for each person. Ive already used a lot of time sorting out problems with the upgrade and I just want to play like everyone else.

    Here is a screenshot of the top players from the previous map. Well done Top.

    The good news is it gives all the new players a chance to compete now.

    Attention new builders - Ignore at your own peril

    Mob traps - Do not allow the mobs to build up large numbers in a very small space.

    Animal breeding - Do not have lots of animals in a one block area.

    This uses server resources and may lag other players server wide.

    • Emerald Ore when placed will create a WG area of 100 x 100.
    • You can give others build access, I think its on the web site somewhere how to do it, or check with anyone online for now.
    • Builder1 may place ONE ore
    • Builder2 may place TWO ores
    • Builder3 may place THREE ores
    • MasterBuilder may place FOUR ores
    • VIP may place FIVE ores
    • VIP+++ may place SEVEN ores

    1.9 reset in progress

    It will take a while as I want to clean out as much junk files as possible. Check here for updates.

    2:00pm - wont be to much longer.
    2:45pm - almost ready to run the server to check what plugins fail
    3:00pm - started the server, getting a lot of error messages. Now to delete some plugins
    3:45pm - got a few problems with plugins, its going to be some time before its sorted
    4:20pm - nothing to report
    4:30pm - permissions plugin broken, need to look into an alternative. Dont rush back looking for updates, unlikely it will be back up today.
    6:30pm - good news everyone, permissions now working. Just need to have a look at some other plugins that dont want to play
    7:50pm - spawn invaded by enderdragon, lots of damage
    8:10pm - cant stop the enderdragon from spawning in spawn..going for dinner in a few minutes
    10:00pm - Enderdragon health bar displays while at spawn, ignore it. MCMMO disabled for now. Server restart is VERY fast now. Dynmap does not work, will have to wait for an update. Protection Stones not setup yet.
    10:30pm - Created a new spawn world, lighting looks very nice at night as its not an End world. Going to take a while to make WG etc is set for this world.
    11:30pm - Getting close to sorting out spawn problems, I hope
    12:45pm - ONLINE

    still some issues to sort, but I'm not staying up any longer. Report any problems, Zick and Top will probably be online for a while.

    Nearly finished making a backup of everything, however;

    All care but no responsibility accepted for any loss of items, money, data or builds. If anything go's missing or gets deleted there will be no free items. Other servers you lose everything with a reset, even if items are lost you are still better off than starting with nothing on a new world.

    Expect a few plugins not to work until they are updated, including Tardis. Some plugins that have not been updated for a long time may never work again, or maybe everything ...

    I'm hoping to be able to update the server to 1.9 nedt weekend, as long as the main plugins are working. We will have to manage without any of the plugins that dont work until they are updated.

    Very soon I'll be copy what builds at the co-ords you submitted for the reset, I'll will leave a reply to each submitted request as they are saved. Once you builds are saved there is no point making any changes as they will be lost, although you still have your Tardis to store items etc.
